PBIS for Parents

At Core Knowledge®, staff utilize strategies from Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to promote a positive culture of learning. PBIS is used globally and is research-proven. The foundation of PBIS is the (1) explicit teaching of behaviors in specific school locations, (2) positive acknowledgement of expected behaviors, and (3) consistent and universal language that is used throughout the school.

Below you can find examples of what behavior is expected of Core Knowledge learners, and the universal language that is used by all staff to promote a safe school environment and socio-emotional health.
